Olivier Rivoire advises and represents Swiss and international clients, including private individuals, companies (multinationals, SMEs, start-ups) and non-governmental organisations. He mainly works in the areas of banking and finance law, corporate law, immigration law and inheritance law.

Pragmatic, responsive and results-oriented, he offers tailor-made legal solutions aligned with his clients' strategic and operational challenges.

With dual experience as an in-house counsel and attorney at law, Olivier Rivoire is particularly active in the following areas:

• Regulatory advice to financial intermediaries, in particular banks, asset managers and other entities subject to the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA supervision
• Corporate law: creation and liquidation of companies, drafting of shareholder agreements, debt collection, enforcement of foreign judgments or arbitral awards in Switzerland;
• Commercial contracts and complex negotiations;
• Immigration law (residence/work permits, intra-group transfers, permits for executives and investors);
• Inheritance law: planning, execution and litigation;
• Dispute resolution through litigation, mediation or arbitration.

Certified since 2020 by the Federal Department of Finance as a mediator under the Financial Services Act (FinSA), Olivier Rivoire also acts as an accredited Ombudsperson at the Swiss Arbitration Centre:

Before joining Reiser law firm. as a partner in 2024, Olivier Rivoire was a partner for more than five years at a renowned Geneva law firm. He previously worked in the legal departments of two major international banks, strengthening his understanding of the operational challenges of the financial sector.

He also worked in the Banking Division of the FINMA in Bern and Zurich. This experience has given him an in-depth understanding of the Swiss regulatory framework and a solid institutional network. It also enables him to effectively assist his clients facing complex regulatory issues or enforcement proceedings.

Since 2025, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banque Raiffeisen Région Genève Rhône.
