Congratulations to our Partner Alexandre de Senarclens for his re-election to the Grand Council of the Canton of Geneva. He will be deputy for the PLR group for the 2023 - 2028 legislature.

Professional experience

Alexandre de Senarclens is primarily active in Banking law and financial services, White Collar crime and Company law, both in an advisory capacity and as counsel in court proceedings.

He primarily assists individuals and financial institutions in complex domestic and transnational litigation. He regularly acts in cases involving financial mismanagement, whether of a civil or criminal nature. His practice also includes assets tracing and freezing orders in Switzerland and abroad.

Alexandre de Senarclens has developed an important network of partner law firms across the world, which enables him to ensure the coordination and continuous monitoring of cases with an international element.

In addition, he advises and represents financial intermediaries, in particular independent wealth managers, in their relationships with their clients, their commercial partners, supervisory authorities, and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). He helps these clients to organise their affairs, to obtain necessary authorisations and to draft contracts specific to their activities. This requires an in-depth analysis of their activities to help clients to choose the most appropriate internal organisation that will allow them to respond efficiently to their various legal and regulatory requirements.

Finally, Alexandre de Senarclens is active in the field of Corporate law (contracts, partner relationships, liabilities of directors and auditors) and acts as board member for several Swiss companies.

He advises his clients in relation to relevant legal aspects as well as the overall strategy in all his fields of specialisms in order to enable his clients to reach their goals. He prioritises privileged, long-term professional relationships, and provides a tailor-made service to his clientele.

Before co-founding Reiser Avocats, Alexandre de Senarclens practised at the Geneva Bar for many years at leading Genevan law firms.
